Overview

Gangtok is the capital of the mountainous northern Indian state of Sikkim. Established as a Buddhist pilgrimage site in the 1840s, the city became capital of an independent monarchy after British rule ended, but joined India in 1975. Today, it remains a Tibetan Buddhist center and a base for hikers organizing permits and transport for treks through Sikkim’s Himalayan mountain ranges.

Itinerary

DAY 1 IXB /NJP - GANGTOK (126 KMS -4 HRS)

Arrive at the airport or railway station and drive to Gangtok, the Capital of Sikkim and check in at your hotel. Spend the evening at your leisure and stay overnight at Gangtok.Near by Mg Road

DAY 2 TSOMGO LAKE & NEW BABA MANDIR |NATHULLA PASS PERMIT CHARGES EXTRA ON DIRECT PAYMENT BASIS|

In the morning at around 8:00 am after yummy breakfast start your day trip (Depend on permit timing issued by Tourism Dep’t.) to Tsomgo Lake ||The lake is 1 km long, oval in shape and 50 ft deep. Here you can witness snow or snowfall if you’re lucky & Yak Riding || & also visit New Baba Mandir completed return back to Gangtok and evening leisure. Overnight at Gangtok hotel.

DAY 3 GANGTOK – PELLING (130 KMS - 5 HRS)

Breakfast at hotel then drive to Pelling enroute visit Siddeshwar Dham (Chardhaam Replica) at Namchi South Sikkim. Pelling Pelling is a small town in the northeastern Indian state of Sikkim, at the foothills of Mount Khangchendzonga. The late-17th-century Buddhist Sanga Choling Monastery has mountain views. Pemayangtse Monastery features wall paintings, sculptures and a gold-plated statue of Guru Padsambhava. Overlooking a valley, the 17th-century Rabdentse Palace, now in ruins, still has evidence of the king’s bedroom and kitchen. Overnight at Pelling hotel.

DAY 4 PELLING SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast at around 8:30 am start for the local sightseeing of Pelling visit Chirinzi Glass Sky Walk, Khecheopalri Lake, Kanchenjunga Waterfall, Rimbi Water Falls, Darap Village(Outer view), Rabdentse Ruins, Pemayangtse Monastery (The 2nd oldest monastery of Sikkim) & Helipad Viewpoint after completing all back to hotel evening free for leisure overnight at Pelling.

DAY 5 PELLING – DARJEELING (75 KMS-3 HRS)

Breakfast at hotel then drive to Darjeeling Darjeeling Darjeeling is a town in India's West Bengal state, in the Himalayan foothills. Once a summer resort for the British Raj elite, it remains the terminus of the narrow-gauge Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, or “Toy Train,” completed in 1881. It's famed for the distinctive black tea grown on plantations that dot its surrounding slopes. Its backdrop is Mt. Kanchenjunga, among the world’s highest peaks. Overnight at Darjeeling hotel.

DAY 6 DARJEELING SIGHTSEEING

Early morning start for Tiger Hill (is subject to availability of Coupon) to watch the spectacular sunrise and it’s amazing effects on the Mt. Kanchenjunga (World’s 3rd highest peak) Fresh-up & breakfast at the hotel followed by day local sightseeing covering Padmaja N. Zoological Garden (Closed on Thursday), Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday),Peace Pagoda (Japanese Temple), Tea Garden (Outer View) Tenzing rock, Gumpu rock as completed back to hotel evening free to walk around visit to the Mall and Local Market (Closed on Thursday). Overnight at Darjeeling.

DAY 7 DARJEELING – IXB/NJP (98 KMS-3 HRS)

Breakfast at hotel drive to Ixb/Njp for onwards journey End of tours & Services.
